R.M.S.A. Competitive Soccer Program

Developing the Player - Skills, Esteem, Character, Sportsmanship

This program is for players with strong basic skills who want to experience the sport of soccer at a higher level.

 

The RMSA Advanced Soccer Academy program prepares young players for the highest level of competition possible. This program focuses on the polishing the player’s skills and in the teaching players how to play soccer at a its highest levels.

 

CURRICULUM:

The instruction is tailored to match the age of the players. This program follows specially designed curriculum to develop each individual player in all aspects of soccer. This program addresses the needs of the players in the physical, technical, tactical and psychological areas. Players are also coached in areas of sportsmanship, ethics, self discipline, and the importance school work. Player are required to maintain good grades in school in order to be able to participate in the RMSA competitive program.

 

ELIGIBILITY:

Players are selected through a "tryout" process.  Players must be 10 years of age to participate in the Advanced Soccer Program.

 

TEAMS:

Boy and Girls teams ages 10 yrs old and above. Players are assigned to teams according to their age and skill level.

 

STYLE OF SOCCER:

The RMSA trains players in the Brazilian style of soccer. This style involves a higher level of skill and ball control. It also employs Brazilian tactical training techniques which give players a greater vision of the game. In addition, players are exposed to other tactical styles that helps them compete against different types of opponents.

 

COACHING STAFF:

The RMSA coaching staff is comprised of highly trained individuals who have a high level of playing and coaching experience. These coaches are required to attend the advanced RMSA coaching classes and master its curriculum. Coaching education has an extremely high priority at the RMSA and it is required for all coaches regardless of their background and coaching experience.

Registration fee covers- Summer training, Fall training/season, winter training(both indoors and out) and the Spring training/season.
