ALL GAMES TO BE HELD AT AURORA SPORTS PARK - All RMSA games for the U-04, U-05, U-06, and U-07 will be held at the Aurora Sports Park.  This move is permanent and it will commence in the Spring of 2008.  There will be no more games at the Summer Valley facility.  The move to the ASP fields has several advantages: The fields are great and we will have all RMSA games in one complex!  This will make it easier for parents with several children because there will be no need to travel between two fields.  In addition, this move will make it a great deal easier for coaches that coach multiple teams.  Summer Valley could be used in the future for "make up games" for the younger teams.

COACHING CERTIFICATION:  ALL RMSA COACHES MUST BE CERTIFIED IN ORDER TO COACH.  COACHES RECEIVE A COACH PATCH INDICATING HIS OR HER CERTIFICATION LEVEL.  COACHES ARE ENCOURAGED TO WEAR THEIR PATCH ON GAME DAY.  AS A PARENT,  YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO ASK YOUR COACH IF SHE OR HE IS CERTIFIED.  LACK OF CERTIFICATION MEANS THAT THE COACH HAS NOT RECEIVED THE PROPER INSTRUCTION IN ORDER TO TEACH THE RMSA CURRICULUM.

FREE SOCCER SKILLS CLINICS ARE BEING OFFERED BY RMSA STAFF COACHES EVERY FRIDAY AT MRACHECK MIDDLE SCHOOL.  ALSO THERE ARE GOALKEEPER CLINICS OFFERED FOR PLAYERS INTERESTED IN BEING A GOALIE.  THESE CLINICS ARE EXCELLENT, AND OUR EXPERIENCE IS THAT THOSE WHO ATTEND THE CLINICS IMPROVE THEIR SKILLS DRAMATICALLY.

COMPETITIVE SOCCER PROGRAM - The Rocky Mountain Soccer Academy has a great competitive soccer program.  It offers advanced soccer training for players who want to achieve a higher level in the sport of soccer.  This program prepares the player for high school soccer and beyond.    Players must be at least U-11 to enter this program.  Check out our tryout announcements for the Spring 2008.

FUNDRAISING FOR PARENTS - There are several programs available for parents and players to do fundraising in order to pay for soccer related expenses.  Ask your team manager about team fundraising.  Also available is the Pepsi Center concession stand.  Here you can earn some serious money working at the RMSA Arby’s concession stand.  Please contact Lisa Russell at fundraising@rmsasoccer.org for information on how to get on the Pepsi Center schedule.
